Record Analytics Setup Guide

Simply follow the install link in the email to access the installation screen. Once there, you can easily agree to the terms of service and data processing permissions. Finish up by clicking the 'Install Now' button.

After the installation is complete, a popup for Extension Settings will appear. Keep it open, as we'll be returning to it shortly.

In a separate tab, navigate to Zoho Analytics and select 'Settings'.

In the Settings menu, go to the 'Variables' tab and then click the 'Create New Variable' Button. Enter the variable name as 'recordAnalyticsRecordId' followed by the 'Create' button.

Open the report you wish to display on either the Account or Contact record. Click the 'Share' button, and then select 'URL/Permalink' from the dropdown menu.

In the Embed/Publish URL Configuration Settings, make sure to set Access Permissions to 'Access with Login.' Expand the Specify URL Criteria section, and within the Columns tab, find and click on 'Id' under 'Accounts' or 'Contacts.'

Add an equals sign '=' after "Accounts"."Id". Next, go to the Variables Tab, and choose our newly created 'recordAnalyticsRecordId' variable. Now, you can click the 'copy' button copy the generated URL to access this report.

Return to the Extension Settings Page we had open in the other tab. Paste the copied URL into the variable value section for the 'Account' or 'Contact' Record, and then click 'Save.'

The configuration is complete! Now, open an Account or Contact record and find the Record Analytics related list – your filtered report will load seamlessly.

If you cannot locate the Record Analytics Related list, open the Related List Preferences and ensure that it is in the 'Selected List' so that it appears.
